Our Mission

The ABQ PSI is built upon principles of mutual aid, trust, and keeping our community safe. We strive to provide harm reduction materials, education, and support focused on the needs of DIY showgoers and their loved ones. At the forefront of our work is the belief that everyone deserves access to support and that everyone has the right to make their own decisions with dignity.

Our Vision

We exist because we hope that someday, Narcan, harm reduction supplies, and harm reduction education is in the pocket of every Albuquerque chain, egg, and crust punk, every goth, every raver, every emo, every hardcore dude/dudette/dude-they, and also in the pocket of everyone who loves and/or knows anyone in the DIY music scene. Overdose deaths are 100% preventable, and we want to prevent every last one in the Albuquerque music scene, one show at a time

In the month of May alone, we hit a milestone of giving out 156 doses of Narcan!

Board And Staff

Our board and staff is comprised completely of volunteers, community members, and students, all of whom are closely connected to the ABQ DIY music scene. Our board and staff are committed to serving the needs of the DIY community and people who use drugs, as well as their loved ones, with respect for the dignity and autonomy of community members at the core of what we do.
